[expand title=” Video Script “]Hello, This is Herson From HeroBot. In this video, I will show how to set up a Bot Reply. We use this setting usually when we want to deliver a message triggered by a specific KeyWord our customers might type.
The way we recommend to use this feature is through a clear Call to Action, appealing your customer to type an exact keyword (Or Phrase) that activates the desired message. Let me show you an example: Let’s say I am sending a Conversation Broadcast to my entire Audience announcing the arrival of new products with a 50% discount.
Since this kind of Broadcasting has no Buttons, we invite customers to type a word (or a group of words), so they can receive the information related to the offer. In this case, the trigger KeyWords are “New 50% OFF”. Before we send out the message, we need to create the Bot Reply that responds to that specific group of words. To do so, we go to Messenger Bot, Bot Settings, and then Bot Reply Settings.
In the right column, find the “Add Bot reply” Button and Click it. We suggest to create the whole sequence in a MindMap software first, and then you can copy and paste inside HeroBot. I created a Sequence that contains two kinds of replies, A text reply and a Carousel with the pictures of the ten products we want to display. Now I can start copying and pasting the elements: The Bot Name Keywords. Something fundamental:
The bot setting is sensitive to Spaces between words, so I am putting variations separated by commas in the case a customer mistype them. From the Reply type list, select “text.” and Enable “Typing on Display” to simulate if someone was writing. I usually use 3 seconds of delay. Copy the text including the First name tag to personalize the message with the customers’ Facebook profile name Now let’s create the Carousel by clicking Add More Reply: Select the Reply Type: Carousel and Enable the Typing on display feature with 5 seconds delay.
Add the first image uploading it from the computer fill the following spaces: The Destination link, The Image Title, The image Subtitle, and The Button Text, select the Button type as WebView[full], let us use the same destination link as Web URL Wich, in this case, is the product page URL. And to add the second image, we click the “Add More Template” Button. I will stop the video here to finish the ten images.
Now The ten images are ready, and the final step is to click the Submit Button. We click OK, and the Bot reply setting is finally prepared. Now Let’s test it. I am sending the Conversational Broadcasting, and I am receiving the message in my Inbox. I will type the KeyWords, and the sequence is working. We are receiving the Text reply, and the Carousel with the ten images, which means the configuration was successful.
As you can see, every image has a BUY NOW button that opens and WebView Full window that keeps our customers inside messenger, allowing us to increase their engagement with our bot. They can open every product page and make the purchase right away.
The customer can add to cart every product individually and have them all together on the checkout page. Now it is your turn. With HeroBot, you can create multiple Bot Replies with various formats and start delivering tremendous results for your business. See you in the next video.[/expand]
When you select this settings then the right side window will show you all the Bot reply you have created so far. You can add new Bot Reply and see Bot settings data by clicking the corresponding buttons.
Add new bot reply by clicking Add bot reply
Now you can see the panel for adding new bot reply. This panel is keyword based reply bot maker. Start by entering your bot name and bot keywords. Replying Keywords must be comma separated.
As we mentioned bot reply is a type of bot based on keywords, that means the bot will respond to user based on keywords you have defined for the bot. For example if you define “Hello” as your keyword, if the user use the word “Hello” as standalone word or in a sentence your bot will execute your predefined response and start interacting with the user. In that example above if the user say “Hello” the bot will response : Hello { user first name }, How can I help you?
